Ipork will be leaving Singapore for Ilha Formosa in the coming week.
Porteguese sailors called this island Ilha Formosa, meaning 'Beautiful Island'.
And in the following week, I will be there, absorbing this spicily flavoured Chinese culture.
More than just a visit to an urban city, I hope for more traditional and aboriginal features to be introduced.
Famous for nightmarkets and the tallest building in the world, I'd expect friendly smiles and courteous sales counter girls.
A pity over zealous courtesy and kindness are not a common sight here in Singapore.
What could we expect?
