O'sweet Jesus Night

Since when was Christmas ever important to me?

Other than it being a public holiday here in Singapore, the significance it has in me is no more than my own birthday, which again, is just another day of the year.

I am no Christian, ain't no lord nor Jesus Christ.

No, again let me stress that I am not spreading radical views about Christianity.

It is after all, just one big religion faction out of many others, and I happened to disbelieve it.

Alright, enough of my beliefs and your disregards.

After the busy week 13 with dinner and dance. See the beautiful pictures of CLS hunks.

Preceding to Christmas week with chalet over at Island Resort, East Coast Park.

This year's Christmas eve was my cousin Lissa's 10th birthday too. Look at her, the bo geh, smiling so delightedly, enjoying all her companions and presents.

The Island Resort, more like Indian Resort, may be due to close by next year.

Little Meredith was too shy to take a photo lol!

Why Indian Resort? Anyone whom has been there recently should be able to observe that their employees are all not non-Indians. Not forgetting that the tenant next door was a huge family of North Indians. Booming their forever loud and disco-like Bollywood music, setting out chairs at the clearing, drinking hard liquors and even dancing at the porch! What a formidable sight and hearing, I was open-mouthed amazed.

Or you could call that a 'jaw-dropping' experience, they were simply ecstatic, I can't bear to watch more. That was for my '07 Christsake experience, what was yours?

Stupid Blogger, my paragraphs can't work! Now my sentences are stuck together to get themselves warm and comfy -,-

Turn The Night On, The Dance Floor

Sweeping away all the used dishes, wrapping off the soiled table cloth.

The emcee put away the mike, threw away his scripts, wished everyone to enjoy the dance night.

The background lights fell, the heat from the searing spot lamps slowly cool off.

Wiping their mouths clean, sipping one last mouthful of the sweet mango dessert.

Everybody rise to get their butts out of the cramp ballroom.

Many head off to leave the hotel, some rushed off to clear their bladders.

Others stay for some photo-taking session, while a few remained inside the dark ballroom.

TURN UP THE BEAT Deejay! HOLY BLAST THE TUNES!

Disco lights, featuring blue, red, violet, white and green rays, lit up a small area just in front of the stage.

Two colossal woofers rooted to the floor, ready to boom the quiet night aloud.

Other surround speakers cleared their throat, preparing to scream everyone heads off through the ballroom.

Boys and girls, dress so well, so gorgeous, so masculine, so sexy.

Moving with the music, dancing to the flow, shaking their heads and limbs as if drugged.

Oh my gorgeous lady, threw her heels aside, let down her pinned hair, going crazy as the decibels grew.

Hi Mr muscle, stripped off his outer coat, giving way to reveal his bright tank top tightly clasping a gym-toned body.

No one gave up the chance of imitating those sleek movements they saw on shows or videos.

But eventually forgo it when they realise the surrounding people start to giggle hysterically.

Girls coming together to form two parallel lines, putting their hands together to form the most simple form of Limbo Rock.

While boys start to circle a single target, pounce on their prey without further notice and threw him into the hair-spray and sparklers-filled air.

Some prefer to just sit by watching these party animals unleashed, sipping away iced drinks, chilling out.

As the woofers continued to boom heavily, the DJ busy with his machines, our hearts never stopped thumping along, missing a beat or two as the tempo increases.

C'mon people, do not hide, do not hesitate, the dance floor is where you let loose, is where you go with the groove.

Promiscuous Shakira will smack that girlfriend of yours bad boy and throw away her umbrella of misfit because she is numb, and she knows that her hips don't lie and everyone will bet she looks good on the dance floor.

Annual Dinner & Dance 2007

19th December 2007 was a grand day for all of us whom took part in the ADD held at Hilton Hotel, Singapore.

Dressed in our best, hoping to gain some eyes on us.

And yes, we did it by entering the ballroom late, just as the Director was delivering his speech.

After dehydrating and boring the sweat out of many, the Director finally ends his speech.

And yes, the dishes were served, satisfying our hungry stomachs.

Though the dishes were kind of badly done, all of us still had fun snapping photos with each other.

And Mr Hot Guy me, a.k.a wore three pieces of top, which comprised of a Polo, a shirt, and a coat.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

FWoah Thanks Dude

Wow seems like there are many new folks hopping by to view my little shite and commenting.

Really appreciate it, and of course, in recognition I shall improve on my language skills.

But no matter who you are, I would gladly stress that please put some kind of respect in your words.

I have no idea what background you were put up in, and definitely have not a slightest clue who or what linked you here.

This is where I piss and write nonsense, there are bound to be mistakes.

Not forgetting the previous post, I know where the mistakes are, but due to the Chinese typing programme I employed, it was unable to ascertain and correct the mistakes.

I apologise to you if you had 'almost died laughing'. Wari wari~

You ought to, of course, please laugh, you should live longer through laughing instead.

I am not a poet, nor a writer, I am just an average schoolboy, whom wishes to express myself, too.

Just like all of you out there. I am sure you don't wish for shite to happen around you.

And you of course would not wish for shitty individuals to come around you and start criticising your mistakes.

I still have much to learn, and truly thank you for telling me things that might have been otherwise invisible to myself.

Just a note, while somebody can remain to feel inferior and not do something about it, another person is busy making mistakes, becoming superior over time.

Let's all learn and grow through mistakes.

Peace out =)

The Unforgiven Toast

STFU NOOB!

Why do you bother?

Why do you care?

Why do you dare?

To think that what you have long wanted was to surpass me.

To think that with you capabilities you could overcome me.

The more you are trying to hide.

The more you reveal your true ugly self.

To even thought that what you wanted to beat me in was none other than a fitness examination.

How foolish. How childish.

You are making me laugh.

To me, you are none other than a big joke.

What you have imposed on yourself are none other than worthless efforts.

There's no need to try, because you can't fry.

Then if you can't fry, don't bother to learn to fly.

Juxta-random-pics Post

Hungry Hungry Saturday

Crazy chocolates, creamy puffs, spicy mee goreng.

Butter fried rice with shallots, thick oily curry, tender mutton rendang.

Smoking hot steamed siew mais, springy spring rolls, crispy fried youtiao with fish filling.

Over sized threadless, ugly marathon picture, Goldlion belt.

Renoma sport socks, strap-less slippers, CRT monitor.

Brown wrist band, bloated stomach, constipation.

Countdown to Showdown

After three years of waiting.

After three years of intensive training.

After three years of sheer pain and sweat.

7th December 2007 -- the day I compete against myself.

As number '67' ran pass the Finish line.

His heart stopped.

The time around him simply froze to subzero.

Loud yells and supporting cheers fell into the background.

The decibels dropped, turning silent, turning still.

Every drop of sweat that trickle down my forehead.

Every bit of carbohydrate burning to feed my pumping muscles.

Every single moment of the rigourous training I have yet to forgot.

Everything collapsed, disintegrated into tiny specks of sparkling dust.

That rapidly vanquished into the atmosphere like light rays escaping into a black hole.

The dark sky.

The wet track.

The shiny spotlights.

The tickling stopclock.

Out of breath.

Out of it.

Running Perspiration

Today, was one grand Sunday for approximately 40,000 active runners.

Coming from all over the world to our humble little island.

Just by the side of One Fullerton. Sea of participants in their attire.

Crowding by the Start line, waiting for the gun shot, gathering all their might they have to complete the race.

Sweating ah, dehydrating ah, beating sun ah.

Mass of blue Adidas set out for some long march before the sun was even awake.

In an hour and ten minutes, we completed our race with grace, leaving many breathless faces eating our dust.

Still we were dissatisfied with our timing, but nonetheless it was our first long distance competitive run.

Dreaded by our lethargic feet, we lounged at Starbucks, reading newspaper sipping away Mocchiato.

Until Ms Hya arrives and we left for lunch at de Pasta Waraku.

Sumptous lunch were served and we ate our fill, the portion was fine, the food suits my taste.

Shopping afterwards.

Which ended up fairly much fruitless.

There are too many things that we want, too little we need and none we could afford.

Said goodbye to Ms Hya for taking her time to shop with us, but did not get anything, too.

Painful legs then carried us back to our cozy home.

PTN Gathering the Sixth

Not just the sixth, its the last as well.

But I never understand why the special three were absent.

Were they simply absent-minded?

I guess not.

We really enjoyed the buffet lunch, steaming hot-pot and sizzling meat on teppanyaki.

No matter who were there or not, all we had to do was to indulge ourselves in the free flowing foods and endless poking fun and laughter.

Not forgetting the couples whom like to sit shoulder to shoulder. Hehe

A pity we did not get them to deliver some hot kisses and passionate touches over the pan.

Myself, I felt tons of energy flowing inside me after the meal.

Guessed that there were too much saturated fats building up, clogging my arteries lol.

After over-stuffing ourselves with food and nonsense.

We went on to do some shopping for formal wears for Mr J and Ed.

G2000 was selling some proper shirts, went off to ZARA and made an abrupt turn back.

Why? Simply because we can buy two shirts at G2 at the price of one piece at ZARA.

Proceeded to X:SQUARE Domanchi to get some nice ties for Ed to choose from.

Without hesitation, I picked up a white with thin silver diagonal striped.

And that was the one he paid for eventually Ha.

I am not admitting that I am not a fashion geek.

I still can afford appropriate shopping, colour choosing and spotting seasonal trends.

Therefore, calling out to all.

Who needs a shopping kaki for advice and good companion who can crack lame jokes.

Call me out LOL!

No nerds.

Happily Obesity

MacDonald's, Super-sized Me, Fast Foods Nation.

Frying fats, oily eggs, tantalizing beef burgers.

Hot oozing cheese, sour tartar creams, fresh mayonnaise.

Our people are feeding on what they termed 'food', which is in fact worse than eating asphalt off the road.

How healthy are we feeding, how healthy are we living?

After the Taiwan trip, a temporary concern of my health upraised, however it subsided soon after.

I then instilled a stricter fitness regime, in hope that it would push my fitness up another notch.

No doubt, I realises I became faster, stronger and better.

However, on the contrary, my body is working against itself.

A kind of destruction, that operates inside-out.

So chronic, so silent. That it becomes scary, the constant fear that grips me day after day.

Worried, when will the day come, when will they strike?

The death of the 5 dragon-boaters.

So? Big deal ah? No, seriously.

Be it you are big, muscular, fit, strong, fast, amazing.

When death strikes, nothingness is what you can hold on, emptiness is what you will feel.

Respects for the dead, not to be forgot.

But, to achieve a Napfa Gold is not a question regarding one being a wimp or a gladiator.

Despite years of training, I still lack the confidence in achieving it.

I just wish that my mates understand that no matter what I achieved, is what I could afford.

Should there be no expectation, there will be no stress to me.

Remember, that I am doing it for myself, not for you, not for who.

I will serve the nation with pride, time is not a factor to me.

Me is not wimp. =D

A Busy Week

Its again, the time to sum up this week's happenings with a new post.

Guess that none of us were spared off by the horrendous monster - Final Year Project.

Rushing and typing, everyone was trying to meet end's need to complete the compilation.

The report.

Me too, subjected to the same amount of stress under those huge workload.

But nonetheless, I'd still have some things to share, some events to attend.

It was Wednesday, the 21st of November.

We were at Swissotel Merchant Court, Grand Ballroom.

This time, we were attending his and hers wedding banquet.

It has been two years since I last visited the same ballroom, the same curtain, the same doors.

Arriving in our best clothes and styled hair, we stepped into the reception cum exchange area.

Where informal greetings, congratulations and asking-how-is-life took shot.

Little discussions about whether have you strike lottery or the recent TOTO was unavoidable.

I guess these are all part of life, mid-life crisis.

Recollecting the images from two years ago.

The carpet, the glasses holding drinks.

Year 3 coming in with all their big coat, long sleeves, pants and Nike.

Girls with their peacock hair, bare-back, low cut, whatever.

All seemed too different.

Take the young man 19 of age, remove his porcupine hair and gel it all the way back.

Give a tinge of grey to his centre-parting, up-sized belly and a dozen of beers to his chiseled abs.

Take that fine girl of 18, put her in a gown her mother would have already given up wearing.

Give that peacock a beehive makeover and few more lines of wrinkle by their eyes.

That was the setting of a wedding dinner of two 30 years old.

As the couple marched into the hall, the background played 第一次 by 光良.

Whether you are in your jeans, pants, dress, skirts, or not, we stood up to give our warmest applause in welcoming the newly wed.

After which, the long awaited dishes finally showed up, the transition change of focus from the couple to the glorious glorious food place on each table.

Gradually, the stomach-satisfied and tired crowd moves out of the hall and made their move to leave.

So what was the motion of holding a wedding dinner?

I am sure there are more to just two person dress in their best.

Circling each table for a toast yum-seng.

And of course the popping of champagne and slicing a Styrofoam pseudo wedding cake.

I could not see the direction of these actions.

是我忽略你不過需要個人陪﹐ 使你心粹﹐ 讓你憔悴﹐ 是我不配!

Stay Over Returns

The swimming trip was meant to be enjoyable.

Sun or rain, cold or shine.

Until we did a foolish act by not keeping our branded slippers into the locker.

And by that, we jeopardised ourselves of going home without footwear.

How how stupid we were!

HA our slippers lured out the greed out of some assholes, to want to make it theirs.

Be it, Chinese beng sengs, Malay mud shites or Indian black mamas.

WHO ON EARTH TOOK OUR PRIZED SLIPPERS?!

I'd wish that you fall to your well deserved foolish death.

Because our slippers were worn out and are very slippery on wet surfaces.

LOL!

Because of your greed, you allowed yourself to drop into a bottomless pit.

Somewhere dark and immense, somewhere you cannot retrieve yourself, back into the light.

Where every ugly infatuations magnify enormously to infinite.

Where you crave for more.

Where you are willing to give in anything in return to feed your insatiable hunger.

This is more than estacy, more than your beastly needs.

It had evolved into a peerless demonic force, consuming your mind, your body.

Only innocent victims like us fall prey to your crazed character, to your lust for smelly slippers.

But fear not, we will help you curb this voracious trait.

The next time you wear our slippers, pray to ME.

Pray that you will not by Kwan Yin Jie Jie's grace see me saw you wearing my possession.

What I will take from you is no more slippers.

I will help you, I definitely will.

I am glad to take an arm or a leg in return, you pick.

Its your choice. Its my pain.

Not forgetting what we ended up with. Hehe

如果你不是我﹐ 那該有多好。

Stay Over 2

Wake up to a fresh new morning, on the floor.

After fasting and furious, burning gasoline and choking octane for breakfast.

We had more to come with Ed's aunt preparations!

Salt and pepper fried rice, served with freshly cut cucumber and pineapple.

To complete the simple fare, she generously topped it off with an egg and a cuppa kopi!

Has been long since I had home-prepared meal for breakfast.

We hungrily gobbled down every morsels of it and moved on to prepare for the later swim.

Here's Mr Just-Bathed-and-Unstyled Ed. Clearly retarded LOL!

Without further hesitation, he agreed to let me style his hair.

Wow, that was my first time doing so, and I really like styling people's hair.

More than I do for myself.

Preliminary wax applying and shaping.

My Comment: Why you stick out your tongue?

Alright, first part done.

My Comment: Can don't act cool?

Stylist at work, do not disturb.

Stop laughing like a mad man.

My Comment: You seem to be enjoying it! HA!

Putting more emphasis on the back now.

My Comment: I know the bottom waving was nicely done.

Here's my amateur style work.

Stay Over

Tonight, is the night.

The first time I am staying over at a classmate's place.

Over at Ed's place.

Cheena man on the bus pisses me off entirely.

Treating the face-to-face seats as sofa, how comfortably resting his legs on the in-front seats.

Fancy stroking his mainland slippers on my toes.

Angry headache.

"But what i have seen was just nth.

Recollecting the days with her makes me happy again.

Nothing much btw us but i am still happy.

Cuz she, the gal i wanted is always there for me.

Is just one little tiny action from her.

That's enough.

Muackz to u ....My LOVE."

Passionate contribution by Ed.

Me is not GAY!

No Money? You Kidding?!

Why is everyone complaining.

About their lack of pocket money.

About their lack of cash.

About their lack of savings.

I do believe that they are not that poor yet.

However it still pisses me off.

We are students, stop telling me about how poor you are.

The reluctance of spending just pays off by indicating how poor you are in your thinkings.

Maybe this is what we call wisdom poverty.

I will not admit that I am rich.

The little wealth that I possessed, came through little by little, bits by bits, over the years.

Gradually, tiny amount each day piled up into a heap of cash.

I understand the pain to pay.

Especially from our own pockets.

However, I am totally fine with forking out money in exchange for enjoyment, health, social or recreational benefits.

I have no idea what background they were brought up in.

But fancy asking for 'sponsors' everytime there is a need to spend and pay.

Doesn't that shame them? I treat that as a serious insult to themselves.

What difference do they have with the beggars along the old street?

I am sure their parents did not plan to give birth to vagabond.

Money spent could be earned back, wasted life can only be recall in sweet o'memories.

Cherish what we have now, money is all but a necessity, it is not worth your life!

Long Lost Rainbow

No, not Jay Chou's new song.

Today, I saw a rainbow.

Just by the western sky of the school stadium.

Did not manage to catch a snap of it.

Merely adored at its rare beauty.

As the seven colours hung on the sky.

A few other colours were competing against each other on the ground.

Handful of players, tossing ball to their team mates, preventing their opponent from scoring.

The black knights were well-trained, with high morale, and their determination to victory was unquestioned.

I cheered and hailed for them, within myself, for they were my fellow clansmen and women.

Fighting hard, sweating efforts, seizing any slight chance, in hope of achieving the grand honour.

With teamwork and individual capabilities, the road to victory is not too far.

I am glad.

As my arms lifted my body against gravity.

As my palms gripped the perspiration-corroded iron bar.

As copper brown rust deposited around my calluses.

That they were there to made us proud.

To give in every strength they could gathered, and never relent to opponent's aggression.

The rainbow is made up of seven colours.

It is no longer a rainbow, with anyone missing.

Liars In The Light

You, wear a mask.

You, like to hide in the shadow.

You, hate someone, but never liked to reveal it openly.

Your stingy slyly little movements.

Forcing my pores to expand.

Bringing goosebumps to my valiant mind.

Sending thousands of shock and chill down my carefully flesh-carved back.

Drilling ways and ways of passages, consuming everything that comes across.

And yet, you'd have the cheek to shed that crocodile tears.

You, are not worth the amount of care and attention.

That we would have given you.

As your ugly interior is gradually exposed, with your beautiful mask disintegrating.

Your hollow self, lead along with a shallow mind.

Let us see you tear apart yourself.

Let us see.

Shuddup! OK?

For the sake of all bloggers and readers whom may come in direct or indirect concern.

Please keep what you read here (or anywhere) to yourself, reflect it upon yourself and digest.

What we wrote were what we mean to express.

They are truthful words, that however may bring unnecessary disturbances or unrest to others if mistakenly leaked to individuals whom the writer has no intention of allowing this person to be aware of.

So, if you want us to accept you, as our readers, kindly respect us just like you would like us to give you in return.

I am serious.

And for you, whom knows my serious side.

Stay away.

Another Kind of Music

Crowds chattered.

Footsteps rumble on the metallic walking board ramp.

The blind guitarist strums his instrument.

Trains came to a halt at the station.

Hot oil frying the dough fritters and puffs.

The elder singer croons his 'Lu Dao Xiao Ye Qu'.

Does this sounds familiar?

It would be if you had slowed down your pace and felt the environment around you.

Life has taken a very rapid pace here in Singapore.

Sometimes it would really be just great to sit down with a friend.

Eat or drink, chit-chatting nonsense, listening to recent pop hits.

Where has this world grown into?

We see new technology sprouting out every part of the world everyday.

Why do we need more of these? Why do we yearn for more?

I understand that humans are relying more and more on technology, I guess we are simply lazy.

Maybe we could just really take a deep breath and settle down.

Watching like the worker on the amount of work he had accomplished.

And ask ourselves whether it was worth the while.

Wardrobe War

RAWR...

Coming to think of it, I should put up a picture or so to flaunt my little closet possessing my dressings.

Nice and tidy wardrobe after revamp. Shirts hung up properly and others folded neatly.

I am kind of a neat freak, so if you think yours is in a huge mess, you can always contact me for some tidying services.

See those Zoids figurines? I spent almost a fortune getting those.

Kind of pains me slightly.

Their colours are fading off and yellowing.

I've got no idea on how to maintain them.

All I could do was to pose them left and right, facing each others.

And amidst the darkness behind the closed closet, an unseen battle lies.

Home Alone Sunday

The best thing to do at home on a lazy Sunday was to Spring-clean!

As my parents are overseas, the family has only me remaining to perform all the house chores.

Tidied and cleaned the kitchen-toilet area.

Packed up the smelly and messy shoes rack.

Dump read letters and tore-open envelops.

And finally did some wardrobe revamp.

As you can see, these are the shirts donned by myself these years.

Some expensive, some cheap, but they are no longer worn.

And they might be disposed, or sold to the rag-and-bone man.

Converse, Op, F-men, Giordano, Bossini, non-branded, some malaysians.

I am a man of various wears, various brands.

As I was packing them away, a vivid thought passes through my mind.

SECOND HAND SHIRTS FOR SALE!

Open to bid, each shirt starts off at SGD 2.00. Each bid for SGD 0.50!

If you take 2 shirts at once, an offer of SGD 3.00 goes to you.

Special offer: Buy 4 and get 1 free, plus, I will throw in another special limited edition Doraemon gift box. Direct from Japan, all authentic!

Interested please PM me.

LOL!

My Wild Random Lust

Two quizzes, two gave-aways, yet two misfortunes.

Finally, I am down with cough and flu.

Thanks to her, for her viral infection.

Tuesday, phlegmy cough, nosie running loose.

But my never yielding body still endured that 10 rounds.

Pull ups were simply never simple.

I never believed I would be in what I am now without those self-imposed trainings.

How much have I changed, seriously?

"Although I am not that kind whom makes head turns,

although I am not filthy rich,

although I do not drive,

although I do not have stylish hair-do,

although I cannot afford expensive wears,

although I am unable to dine in fine restaurants.

But at least, I know that the one whom is truly mine will not expect these from me."

Where are you?

Friday's Five Dazes

Were supposed to leave school early to kickstart our shopping.

But were seriously held up and delayed for friggin 45 minutes.

First daze!

Were supposed to alight at J.E. and have a sumptuous dinner.

But disembarked at the station after that and walked a reasonable distance to where dinner was served.

Second daze!

Recommended to have 'Thunder Tea' for dinner.

But ordered sliced fish soup and rice.

Third daze!

Brought him to the FOS for cheap shopping.

But bought a shirt that was more expensive than his pick.

Forth daze!

Queued at the express counter for just 5 apples.

But shoppers in front were buying airports and cranes.

WTH! Last but not least fifth daze!

Citations Needed Please

Am I that scary? Maybe yes.

Was I so scary? Maybe no.

I guess sometimes people gets too overwhelmed by their own thoughts.

They think by having more friends, by having big mouth, by criticising others at their back,

they could change the mask they are wearing.

When they are still living in their own scrimpy, stingy, smelly world.

If you are really AFRAID of ME, why are you AFRAID of telling ME?

I know you know me enough (not well enough - that's for sure) what kind of a person I am.

Least, I am more honest and I am never shy of telling others how I really feel and think.

Provided they take the initiative to ask me.

I am not that kind whom opens his mouth first.

I am those whom listens, any idiot could see that.

I don't want you to doubt me, I want to be your friend.

If there was any kind of misunderstandings, we could come out and straighten them out.

What you've heard from others' mouths may just be their side of the story.

If you want to get that doubt of suspicion off your mind, come talk to me.

Another Saturday

It was Saturday, yesterday.

A visit from aunt.

Reports, tutorials, lunches, dinner.

I love shopping.

Dinner at Aji-Tei, IMM.

Bought a Natural coloured tee-shirt from FOS.

Recollections from Taipei's Wu Fen Pu.

Wow that's really one kind of a place I've never been before.

Quick and easy shopping, no need for try-outs, no need for bargaining.

Just grab and pay.

Am looking forward to subsequent trips to Taiwan.

Lets go back to Wu Fen Pu. Lets dig in at Wu Jiao Chuan Ban.

Genetics Super-Impose

Will children grow up to become just like their parents?

This is a question I guess many scientics, doctors, biologists and psychologists pondered about.

When I was young, many relatives mentioned that I look like my mum.

Our eyes. The distinctive trait.

Thick brows. Fearsome tiger eyes.

However, growing up years after years.

I see more of my father in me. Somewhere somehow.

Not blowing my own trumpet.

Honesty saying, honest was one great character my father presented me.

My parents were overall good singers.

Not surprisingly, I found that I could maintain my vocals well.

Able to sing properly without the need for specific training.

But just picking up pointers along sing-along karaoke sessions that had long became a norm families-friends activity.

As we learn, as we grow up, as we indulge ourselves in all sorts of nonsense and people.

Only then will we be able to look at ourselves in a clearer picture.

Our own eyes are often distorted. And we need people around us as our mirrors.

Fort San Domingo

Ipork will be leaving Singapore for Ilha Formosa in the coming week.

Porteguese sailors called this island Ilha Formosa, meaning 'Beautiful Island'.

And in the following week, I will be there, absorbing this spicily flavoured Chinese culture.

More than just a visit to an urban city, I hope for more traditional and aboriginal features to be introduced.

Famous for nightmarkets and the tallest building in the world, I'd expect friendly smiles and courteous sales counter girls.

A pity over zealous courtesy and kindness are not a common sight here in Singapore.

What could we expect?

Everyday Little Things

Jogging through the neighbourhood estate.

I came to realise many things have changed.

The trees have grown, the flowers have wiltered, the roadworks done, pair of students holding hands.

I really enjoy time spent doing things I like alone.

As I was waiting for Green Man to appear to cross the street, a pair of young boys and their mum came by.

The mum was teaching her little boy about the calendar.

She asked, how to say the nineth month?

The boy: September!

She asked, how about the tenth month?

Boy goes: October!

Lastly, she questioned the eleventh month.

Hesistantly, the boy pondered and did not come out with an answer...

I wanted to answer for him, it was:

I-DON'T-REMEM-BER!

A Flawlessly Packaged unReality

This template is FRIGGINLY UGLY!

Thankfully this writer here have got a heightened sense of colour combination and changed the colour scheme a lil bit.

It still sucks alot anyways.

Why do I feel envious... Why am I jealous about them?

The guys probably all lifted weights; the ladies probably spent a fortune on those before their mirror.

Despite trying to imitate these to my best, I never felt the confidence they carry.

What is truly lacking?

I do doubt myself.

Nonsense Have Arrived

I am, back to one, back to this, back to blog.

I have many things to say, but I can't find words to put them across.

Give me some time to settle out.

As works piled, as datelines end, we all made mad rushes to get things completed.

But in the process, have we really 'got things done'?

Why does people do things for the sake of doing them.

Why are results so important; have everybody forgotten that the essence of solving anything lies in the process?

I believe as the pace one takes start to hasten, they should sometimes slow down and take a look at their surrounding.

Just like watching movie in slow-mo.

In everyone of us there lives a pair of ourselves, one angel, the other devil.

Let them talk to us, let them converse in our heart.

Let's take things one by one.

Let's start TALKING!
