Crowds chattered.
Footsteps rumble on the metallic walking board ramp.
The blind guitarist strums his instrument.
Trains came to a halt at the station.
Hot oil frying the dough fritters and puffs.
The elder singer croons his 'Lu Dao Xiao Ye Qu'.
Does this sounds familiar?
It would be if you had slowed down your pace and felt the environment around you.
Life has taken a very rapid pace here in Singapore.
Sometimes it would really be just great to sit down with a friend.
Eat or drink, chit-chatting nonsense, listening to recent pop hits.
Where has this world grown into?
We see new technology sprouting out every part of the world everyday.
Why do we need more of these? Why do we yearn for more?
I understand that humans are relying more and more on technology, I guess we are simply lazy.
Maybe we could just really take a deep breath and settle down.
Watching like the worker on the amount of work he had accomplished.
And ask ourselves whether it was worth the while.
