Turn The Night On, The Dance Floor

Sweeping away all the used dishes, wrapping off the soiled table cloth.

The emcee put away the mike, threw away his scripts, wished everyone to enjoy the dance night.

The background lights fell, the heat from the searing spot lamps slowly cool off.

Wiping their mouths clean, sipping one last mouthful of the sweet mango dessert.

Everybody rise to get their butts out of the cramp ballroom.

Many head off to leave the hotel, some rushed off to clear their bladders.

Others stay for some photo-taking session, while a few remained inside the dark ballroom.

TURN UP THE BEAT Deejay! HOLY BLAST THE TUNES!

Disco lights, featuring blue, red, violet, white and green rays, lit up a small area just in front of the stage.

Two colossal woofers rooted to the floor, ready to boom the quiet night aloud.

Other surround speakers cleared their throat, preparing to scream everyone heads off through the ballroom.

Boys and girls, dress so well, so gorgeous, so masculine, so sexy.

Moving with the music, dancing to the flow, shaking their heads and limbs as if drugged.

Oh my gorgeous lady, threw her heels aside, let down her pinned hair, going crazy as the decibels grew.

Hi Mr muscle, stripped off his outer coat, giving way to reveal his bright tank top tightly clasping a gym-toned body.

No one gave up the chance of imitating those sleek movements they saw on shows or videos.

But eventually forgo it when they realise the surrounding people start to giggle hysterically.

Girls coming together to form two parallel lines, putting their hands together to form the most simple form of Limbo Rock.

While boys start to circle a single target, pounce on their prey without further notice and threw him into the hair-spray and sparklers-filled air.

Some prefer to just sit by watching these party animals unleashed, sipping away iced drinks, chilling out.

As the woofers continued to boom heavily, the DJ busy with his machines, our hearts never stopped thumping along, missing a beat or two as the tempo increases.

C'mon people, do not hide, do not hesitate, the dance floor is where you let loose, is where you go with the groove.

Promiscuous Shakira will smack that girlfriend of yours bad boy and throw away her umbrella of misfit because she is numb, and she knows that her hips don't lie and everyone will bet she looks good on the dance floor.
